** Canman, the dragon god of the Moon, Rodderan, the dragon god of Science and the Science of the Stars, and Lementia, the dragon Goddes of the sun, are the three united dragon entities under God. The first hymn is Canman and Rodderan’s creation, the third being Lementia’s learning and genocide. The Fourth voice is unspecified. In the first seven days of creation, God had given Lementia ownership of the sun and has also given Rodderan science to assist Lementia. Canman was born of science from Rodderan, but he was already “existing.”

—From the Dragon’s Creation Song

We know that much is true about Lementia, but who is she truly? If you’ve read Drachenscolderung, you know that she gave Ashuton the “fertility of the gods.” So she aided him in the creation of the Draconizica Empire. That explains why her emblem is seen on anything pertaining to the Eons-old dragon empire.

With little information we have on her, we do know her human characteristics. From the most famous poem, “Lementia, I Am Seeing,” written in 1121, the speaker describes her as a dark-skinned human. Below is a passage from the poem:

In front of me I see a Dragon Goddess that loved to tease. She could be human if she pleased, And when thine eyes feasted upon the goddess, I ne’er expected her to be the color of mud, you see. But mud is of the Earth, just like this Dragon woman And this woman told me she could guise herself as a flourishing tree

So we know what her skin tone is, but what else do we know? Well, an excerpt from “The Dragon God’s Apology,” written in 1489, states that there are strange dragon markings that appear on her body whenever the power of “The Vessel” is used to it’s potential. The last time The Vessel used his power to it’s extent was during the dragon apocalypse of Isodine. Back in those days, a rival alien race called Isodine tried to enslave both humans and dragons, until The Vessel used “The Mosaic” to deal with the rival adversaries. It was at that time that these “markings” became visible on Lementia’s body. In modern terms, the “markings” would be called a birthmark or a tattoo.

Another thing to identify her is that she sometimes takes the form of a Cicada. In the Dragon Religion, Cicadas are seen as symbolism of heroism (heroicness), romance and gracefulness, hence the reason why a Cicada is used as a secondary emblem by the Dragon Empire.
